An easy hike today on a not so great weather day that started off cool, dry and cloudy and ended up cool and rainy. The trail was actually in good condition with repairs showing on several of the bridges. Not a lot to see except for some views of Smith Creek on the northern portion of our hike. We did see a couple of fishermen trying their luck in that creek. Our hikers enjoyed lunch at Unicoi Lodge before returning in the rain.
