TRAIL INFO. - Our hike on the Appalachian Trail today began at Tesnatee Gap. On Hwy 348 North of Helen, GA. We hiked to Cow Rock and beyond towards Neel's Gap. Hiking distance 8+ miles.

Another beautiful hiking day! Partly cloudy 55-68 degrees F. Great views in the Cow Rock area!

Fauna identified - Pileated Woodpecker, Carolina Wren, Junco.
